@destroytodayDestroyTwitter is a compact though robust Twitter application built to run on Mac, Windows, and Linux using Adobe AIR. It consists of a series of canvases that constantly update to keep tweets up-to-date using notifications that appear when a new tweet arrives. DestroyTwitter uses a minimal amount of memory compared to its AIR-based alternatives without sacrificing functionality and performance. As a result, it can easily run in the background as an automated process.

Very good. Not the same as running Twitter on the web. A possible step backwards to the concept of the cloud. Great for tweetaholic's like me as notifications flash up while you're working.
DestryTweeter looks nice, but it has zero tolerance for non-Latin alphabets, so I have to try elsewhere.
Looks cool, love the skin option (especially designing your own!), easy to install and set-up, very easy to use and customise your preferences. Love it.

Please try it. You never would use other.
So pretty and such a great UX, there is honestly no need to use anything else. It does everything you actually use on Twitter in a speedy, sensible interface.
