Peekr is a nifty little bookmarklet (a.k.a. favelet) that you can drag to your browser's toolbar and click to see a Twitter user's entire background graphic and then click again to get things back to normal. It works on most browsers and it's handy to have around while you're busy tweeting.

Helpful little bookmarklet. Just drag it to your bookmarks bar and when clicked Peekr lets you see a Twitter user's full Twitter background by removing their tweets and stuff -- when clicked again it sets things back to normal.

If you like to look at custom Twitter backgrounds or if you make Twitter backgrounds, then Peekr makes the process simpler... it cuts-down on right-clicks and helps keep your context, and keeps your browser tabs to a minimum.

Works in most (modern) browsers.

Interesting... A background image can be viewed by a right click anywhere, but Peekr's UI is pretty good... Good for non-techies, but for me I can just right click. I might recommend it to non-techies.

You don't need this. Just right click on the background and choose "View background image".
