Tool Reviews
I had been recommended this app previously, but only added it recently - through Ovi Store. It installed great and I was very impressed with the ease of use and many of it's features.
Tweeting and FBing are easy and the ability to read feeds is great. I am getting info-bytes all the time now. Great application and it has removed my need for 2 apps in the process.
Great.
I did use Mippin all the time for reading and directly tweeting news items from my phone to my twitter feed. However Snaptu has taken over this mantle as it performs the job easier and so much better.
It has made in in to one of my "must have" apps on my phone.
i have a samsung highlight with no data plan so this is the best twitter app i've found so far. the only thing missing is that it doesnt allow you to approve new followers. i felt tempted to take my profile off private because of this but i decided against it. the app isnt lighning quick but i wouldnt say its slow. its just above average. overall i love this app and was so glad to find it. (no more sms tweeting!! lol) i highly recommend it to those who have no data plan. I just wish it would let me approve my dang new followers!!
thanks snaptu! ;)
Only recently discovered Snaptu, and I'm already loving it. A really classy interface - obviously inspired by the look of the iPhone interface - and very simple to use and navigate around. In terms of its Twitter-use, it's brilliant. Loads very quickly and is very easy to read and Tweet from. Comes with a bunch of other shortcuts (including Facebook, SeatWave concert tickets, London Tube line statuses and The Guardian newspaper, which may vary from region to region, I would imagine) which only serve to make it a must-have for anyone using a Java/Web phone.
If you have a Java phone... this is the application to get.
This is the most commonly used application on my phone. It is worth installing purely for Twitter (clean interface and very easy to use).
However it comes with a few other useful addition such as Facebook (the easiest way to browse FB photos on a Java mobile), and the RSS reader is great having the option to import feeds from your Google Reader account.
